[Press Release] AutoZone Park brings FanFood to Fans of Memphis 901 FC and Memphis Redbirds
Memphis, TN – AutoZone Park, home to Memphis 901 FC and the Memphis Redbirds, is partnering with the online and mobile ordering technology company, FanFood, to offer cashless and contactless ordering for soccer this year starting from July 25th.
Although the 2020 Minor League Baseball season was canceled, AutoZone Park will still host USL games for the Memphis 901 FC. Five stores at the stadium will be equipped with FanFood technology, and fans attending Memphis 901 FC home games can browse menu options right from their phones, which creates a safer post-pandemic environment. As per AutoZone Park’s reopening plan, there will be a limited number of fans allowed at games, and cashless transactions as well as in-seat ordering and delivery will be available thanks to FanFood.
“We know people don’t want to stand in lines right now, and stadiums are looking for ways to make their concessions stands safer.” said FanFood CEO and co-founder Carson Goodale. “FanFood is the safe, convenient and efficient solution, and we’re delighted to be a part of AutoZone Park’s reopening.”
This new partnership adds AutoZone Park to FanFood’s existing 160+ venue partners nationwide across industries including sports, live entertainment and hospitality. FanFood partners are seeing up to 40 percent increase in average order size, with every other customer placing more than one order throughout the event. With FanFood, operators are able to accept more orders without seeing long lines, decrease transaction times and reduce operating cost by removing the need of a cashier.
FanFood has also recently partnered with another USL team, Birmingham Legion FC. Both Birmingham Legion FC and Memphis 901 FC are competing in the same regionalized group for the 2020 USL Championship tournament.
